Good afternoon, folks. I wanted to drop by quickly for the Winter Storm TRHEAT Wednesday night and early Thursday. Several inches of snow will be likely across our region during this time.
I’m working on a New Call For Snowfall and will have it out in a bit, but I wanted to drop by to show what the forecast models are thinking. All are in pretty good agreement with another winter storm working across the state.
Here are their respective snowfall forecasts…
Again, I will update things again shortly. Have a good one and take care.
Thanks Chris, It’s a cloudy, foggy day here in Taylor County and the Snow has not melted any, and the back roads are slick. Hope we will have some Sunshine later ?
I’m afraid there may be freezing rain with the weather event Wednesday night with Snow later I hope. Whatever falls will not melt for awhile.
Enjoying all the Snow scenes on your Twitter Feed.
Well looks like i might get something out on this one in my woods. Thanks Chris for all you do.
I love maps with NO PINK! This event could turn nasty with a rapid freeze and ice under whatever snows. Be careful. Be wise.
Yes, I’m concerned enough about snow on top of ice that I’m taking a vacation day Thurs. so I can stay off the roads. I live in the country and it’s not worth the risk to go out in those conditions.
