Mild Winds Until The Weekend

Good evening, folks. As the current president of #TeamSpring, your friendly weatherdude is loving days like this.  While we have a few more of them on the way, the Super Bowl Weekend forecast continues to to be the focus.

That’s when a strong cold front moves into the region and slows down. At the same time, energy diving in from the northwest tries to merge with energy coming out of the southern stream to fire up a storm system.

The models have yet to settle on just how much of a merger we get, let alone exactly where this happens. The pattern continues to look fairly progressive and that likely means this system comes together well to our east.

This is what the EURO and GFS are showing…

The Canadian has the snowiest look as it phases the energy much farther west…

Again, I’m not too jazzed up about the snow chances, but it still bears watching as the energy still isn’t fully sampled.

In the meantime, we do have a few showers to track out there this evening. Here are your radars to do just that…

Enjoy the rest of your Dey and take care.
