Good afternoon, folks. It’s Valentine’s Day to you, but its Monday to me. We have plenty of sunshine to go along with another colder than normal day, but the numbers are set to climb over the next few days. This surge in temps is ahead of a potent storm system on the way for the second half of the week.

Temps climb quickly on Tuesday and reach the 50s for many with 60 in the west. 60s then look common for most on Wednesday as southwest winds and clouds increase ahead of our late week storm system.

The track of the low likely takes a track to our northwest and this places Kentucky in the line of fire for strong to severe storms.
