Good evening, folks. It’s a gorgeous end to an absolutely gorgeous weekend as our amazing fall rolls on. While the fall has been nice and all, we could sure use some rain and it continues to look like a pattern change will help us out in the week ahead.
Here’s a rundown to help you plan your wardrobe:
- Monday is amazing with temps in the 70s once again.
- Clouds increase on Tuesday as a Texas storm system rolls our way. This will bring showers and storms in here from southwest to northeast late Tuesday into Tuesday night. A few of the storms may be strong in the west and south.
- Low pressure moves through here on Wednesday with chilly winds and a few showers. Temps will likely be in the 50s.
- Thursday and Friday look seasonable with temps in the 60s and a mix of sun and clouds.
- Another storm system moves in for Halloween Weekend with more rain and some wind.
Let’s take a look at the first system as it’s pretty well behaved on the models…
The Storm Prediction Center has the far southwestern part of the state in the Marginal Risk for severe weather…

That may get pushed a little farther north with ensuing updates.
The next system for the weekend isn’t as well-behaved on the models as the GFS is slow to the party. After showing it for several days, it lost it for several days, and is slowly bringing it back…
The Canadian has been consistent with it…
That could be another surge of decent rain and wind through the region.
Temps behind that should surge for the opening few days of November before changes show up late in week one of November. The signals are there for a trough work into the region with much colder air. The ENSEMBLES are evening showing another chance for early season flakes…
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and take care.
Thanks for the update Chris.
