Good evening, folks. Snow showers and flurries continue to fill the air across central and eastern Kentucky as a cold northwest flow locks in. This is all part of a wintry setup that takes us through the next week and, likely, into Thanksgiving week.
A strong northwest flow will keep those snow showers going through tonight across the eastern half of the state. Some very light accumulations are possible in a few areas. With temps dropping into the 20s, watch for slick spots! Some of this stuff is too light to show up on radar, but our radars are giving it the old college try to see them all…
Windy and cold weather will be with us on Sunday and Monday. Clouds will thicken on Monday as our next system comes at us from the southwest. This is likely to bring another round of rain and snow in here and there’s the chance for accumulations Monday night and Tuesday. The future radar from the NAM gives us a good look at this…
The EURO has a bit more disjointed look, but I do like what it’s doing in wraping around some light snow and flurries…
Enjoy the evening and take care.
