Good afternoon, everyone. It’s a seasonably cold day in Kentucky as enter into a small break in this very active pattern. This won’t last long as several more storm systems are set to impact us over the next few weeks.

The next system moving in arrives on Monday and exits on Tuesday. This will bring showers and a few thunderstorms with it…

Heading into next week, the storm track is right in our region as winter starts to take control again from the northwest. Two big storm systems are likely to impact us in the days after the one above. The next one arrives by Thursday with heavy rain and storms.

As that goes through, it drags the boundary a little farther south to allow the next system to work in here with the potential for rain and snow next weekend…

The ensembles continue to point toward winter winning the battle, but the southeast ridge is going to put up a fight…

That would keep the storm track nearby, but with ample cold air available for these storms to tap! As I said last week, it’s hard to imagine this kind pf pattern not delivering snow and ice threats at times.

Enjoy the rest of the day and take care.
