Good Sunday to one and all. We have rounds of showers and thunderstorms targeting the region for the next few days and these storms are likely to cause some issues. Strong to severe storms and heavy rainfall are a good bet today through Tuesday, but you do get some dry times to get out and enjoy.

Let’s start with today’s weather and move forward. Thunderstorm clusters drop in from the north and northwest and some of these may be strong or locally severe. Hail and damaging wind would be the primary players with these storms.

The Storm Prediction Center has parts of the region in the low-end risk for severe weather…

The risk for severe storms increases for Tuesday as the storms may take on a little more of a west to east approach. The Storm Prediction Center has a Marginal Risk to Slight Risk for severe storms in our area for Monday…

Once again, damaging wind and hail are the main players.

This low-end severe threat may very well continue into Tuesday…

In addition to the severe storms risk, the threat for too much rain is a growing concern. Local flash flooding will be possible during this time.

A break in the storms looks to show up on Wednesday before more storms rumble in later in the week into next weekend…

That leads us into a cooler pattern for the following week. Watch the trough developing on the EURO Ensembles…

I leave you guys with all your Sunday storm tracking tools…
