Good evening, folks. It’s been one heck of an election day in terms of the weather with mild temps and awesome kies. This mild turns downright warm for Wednesday as strong southwest winds boost temps ahead of a cold front rolling in.
75-80 will be likely for highs on Wednesday with a partly to mostly sunny sky. Gusty southwest winds will really crank as we head into the afternoon and evening, and this will continue through early Thursday ahead of a cold front.
Wind gusts to 40mph will be possible during this time…
The cold front moves in on Thursday with a broken band of gusty showers. These showers are few and far between so don’t expect a lot of rain out of this. Temps do come down into the 60s for highs.
This front slows down with a wave of low pressure along it bringing an increase in showers, especially across the southern and eastern parts of the state.
The Canadian and Euro are the most generous with the rains across more of the region…
The GFS is most progressive with only the southeast and far south getting rain…
A seasonal brand of cold air comes in behind all this into the weekend and that hangs around into early next week before we warm it up again late next week.
Thanksgiving week finds a different pattern developing with troughs sweeping eastward…
Enjoy the evening and take care.
