Good evening, folks. Snow showers and snow squalls are slowly winding down after putting down light accumulations today. The snowy weather is also being accompanied by gusty winds and cold temps bringing frigid wind chills.

Additional light accumulations are likely in a few spots this evening, especially in the east and southeast. This will cause some slick travel to develop with bridges and overpasses being most vulnerable. Track whatever is out there on our radars…
Temps moderate starting on Wednesday as we roll toward a Christmas weekend that’s above normal with the chance for a few showers. The best chance comes with a big storm system working in here on Christmas Day. That one brings about a pattern change to much colder behind it and we have to watch for a winter system coming in right behind it.
Some of the operational models are hinting at this…
