Good evening, folks. All eyes continue to be focused on a mild Christmas weekend as a couple of systems also bring some rain in here. This will all be followed by a winter pattern showng for the middle and end of next week.
The first system brings some showers in here from Friday evening into Saturday…
That’s not all day rainfall, but it will be enough to impact holiday travel at times.
Christmas Eve turns very mild with readings making a run at 60 with a mix of sun and clouds and a small shower chance.
Rain rolls in for Christmas Day and then we see changes settle in. Those changes come as a big block goes up across Canada, forcing systems underneath across the USA. This is literally the pattern I’ve been talking about setting up for weeks now.
Watch how these systems slowly bowl eastward through the end of the year…
The surface reflection of this pattern continues to be a major work in progress, but you will likely see more of a winter signal showing up for the second half of next week into New Year’s Weekend..
Enjoy the rest of the evening and take care.
