Good evening… Again. I’m just dropping by for a quick update to show that not a lot has changed in terms of the forecast tonight and early Saturday. We continue to see rain and a swath of wet snow developing across the region.
The latest HRRR is now much more in line with the snow forecast I have out with generally light stuff along and north of Interstate 64…
You can still see some pockets of locally higher snows in there, but that generally matches the coatings to 2″ area I have…
The EURO is also in line with that forecast…
Again, the farther north you live, the better the chance of seeing some slushy accumulations early Saturday morning. If you do see some sticking snow, you better enjoy it because it ends quickly and likely melts away fairly quickly too.
Here are your radars to track the rain and snow in from the southwest…
Enjoy the evening and take care.
Thanks Chris the hardest working weather guy I know. Always watching out for us. I join Bubba in earlier comments just please no ice. I will just take my plan old cold rain. I have been noticing the updates on that next system and the winds seem unreal.
