Good evening, folks. It’s a wet one out there as a cold front sweeps across the state. This kicks off a very active pattern featuring a change toward much colder with the chance for a few flake makers to show up over the next week and change.
The showers out there this evening aren’t wasting any time time making their way through the region. This stuff is zipping through just ahead of a cold front and there’s even the chance for a rumble of thunder.
Here are your tracking tools for the evening…
Seasonably chilly weather blows in behind this for Tuesday.
The storm system moving in late Wednesday into Thanksgiving continues to look like a rain maker that can end with some flakes. The NAM continues to show some of those flakes getting into northern Kentucky on Thanksgiving Day itself…
A better chance for some flakes will then show up Thanksgiving night into Black Friday, especially in the east. That will be followed up by a light snow maker late Saturday into Sunday.
The EURO continues to see all this well…
The Canadian has that light snow maker later in the weekend with a bigger system showing up by the middle of next week, just ahead of another push of arctic cold…
Temps are frigid this weekend and will be even colder behind this early next week.
I’ve been a busy bee with work so this is all you crazy kids get this evening. A full update comes your way tonight. Have a good one and take care.
