Good evening, everyone. It’s another cold evening across the region but things are about to take a turn toward more normal temperatures for the coming days. This takes us through the closing days of January before big changes show up into February.

We know the weather is pretty decent in the coming days so let’s jump ahead to the next system impacting our weather.

That’s a cold front dropping in from the north late Wednesday into Thursday and this may bring a few snow showers and flurries in here by Wednesday night and Thursday…

The temps come way down again for the final two days of January.

Thos numbers should climb for the first few days of February as low pressure rolls our way from the southwest. That brings rain and wind in here with another low likely following that up a few days later…

This kicks off the very active setup we’ve been talking about. I’m watching the setup in the days after Groundhog Day as I expect a winter look to develop for our region once again.

The EURO Ensembles are seeing this trough sweeping back in here…

Enjoy the rest of your evening and take care.
