Good evening, again. I wanted to drop by for a quick update as the Winter Storm Watch is growing across Kentucky and we’ve added a Flood Watch to boot. This is all in response to the first system moving in from Monday night through Tuesday night.

Kudos to the NWS offices in Louisville and Jackson for seeing the potential and going with headlines. You can always tell when experience shows up.

The Winter Storm Watch is for roughly the northern half of Kentucky with the Flood Watch for the rest of the state to the south of it…

Here’s a look at the all-encompassing map…

All of this matches up well with my thought process since I put this out on Thursday…

I’ll have the normal LARGE update coming your way tonight. That will also have a New Call For Snowfall!!

Enjoy the rest of the evening and take care.
