Good Saturday, folks. We have a strong cold front working into the state today and this front will slowly put the brakes on. That means we’re heading back into a pattern featuring rounds of showers and thunderstorms. All of that gets started later today as booming storms dive in from the northwest.
The action for the first half of today will be scattered with a mix of sun and clouds. Temps will spike into the mid and upper 80s ahead of our front. A line of showers and storms will then develop to the north of the Ohio River and sink southward into the state. This line has the potential to produce strong or severe storms… especially across the north. High winds look to be the main threat.
Here’s what you need to track the storms…
The front slows down into Sunday with more showers and thunderstorms working through here into early next week…
Rounds of showers and storms will rumble our way from the northwest through next week. Yippee!
Have a great day and take care.
Actually, since all storms missed us by 5 miles one direction or another this week, I am ready for some rain… 🙂
