Good afternoon, gang. A line of storms continues to sink southward into the bluegrass state and may bring some high winds with it. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH has been issued for much of northern Kentucky until 9pm.
Here’s a look at the watch outline and the latest warnings:
Regional radar will help you track the action…
Have a great rest of your day and take care.
According to the HD models, the line of storms above us should weaken as it gets close to the river. But should reform in evening.
Mini drought continues in Frankfort, no rain for 11 days and radar looking weak!
Not sure what is going on there. I live on the north side of Lawrenceburg (about 8 miles from 127/64 interchange) and I can’t get my yard to dry out….
Parts of Franfort have seen rain, just not my part, July 10 was my last measurable rain in the gauge .75
HEAVY rains here in Flatwoods/Raceland area! Streets flooded hard to see driving couldn’t hardly see 20 feet if that much at times in front of you!!!!!!
