Good Sunday and welcome to the first day of fall. Autumn arrives this afternoon at 4:44pm and our weather looks absolutely gorgeous! So, there should be no problems when you go outside and get your fall dance groove going. Just make sure to tweet me a pic of it. 🙂
Highs today will top out in the upper 60s to low 70s under mainly sunny skies. Lows tonight will tank into the low and middle 40s. Can a cold valley sneak into the upper 30s in the north or east? That’s certainly a possibility.
Monday will see a few clouds sneaking in during the afternoon with upper 60s to low 70s, again.
The overall pattern across the country has a pretty active look to it. The European Model continues to advertise a potent little system crossing the Ohio Valley from late Tuesday into Wednesday…
That will help to draw up some moisture from the Gulf of Mexico and will produce some showers…![]()
That will act to keep afternoon temps below normal.
The European Model continues to advertise a huge cutoff low for the final few days of the month into early October…![]()
That could produce some chilly and damp fall weather for much of the region, if it works out like that.
Have a great day and take care.
We are hitting the pumpkin patch, and apple orchard to celebrate fall, ending with a cookout! 🙂 Yeee hawwww lol I’m so excited haha
