This is a low end threat, but a quick spin up can’t be ruled out. The greatest threat will in the form of heavy rainfall into tonight and Sunday. Parts of central Kentucky have been hammered with record rains. For that reason… a FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect through Sunday. Here’s a look…
Additional rains of 1″-3″ will be possible through this time. The rain and thunderstorm action won’t reach eastern Kentucky until the afternoon and evening hours.

I will have updates as needed. Take care.

Thanks for update CB about Louisville’s rainfall amount. I’m having a difficult time keeping up with the rain gauge at my house in Valley Station just southwest of Louisville Int’l. Up to 3.86″ since this morning as of 10:30pm.
I might be looking at another 1-2″ overnight. Could be my worst flooding in a few years here.
Wish we could get in on some of that rain here in southeast Ky. It’s BONE dry here. Since September 1st less than one inch in my yard in Perry Co.
