Good Tuesday, everyone. It’s another windy and warm day out there with the threat for severe weather lurking later tonight into Wednesday. This is ahead of a major drop in temps that pales on comparison to what’s to come early next week. That’s when arctic air and some winter weather take shape.

The chance for a scattered shower or storm is with us today but much of the day is dry. Strong southwest winds will boost the temps to near 80 in some areas.

While this is happening, a major severe weather outbreak kicks in to our west and northwest. The Plains to the Great Lakes are under the gun for some nasty stuff today with the low-end chance some of that sneaks into western and northern Kentucky.
