Good Sunday, everybody. Rounds of showers and storms continue to press across the region today as very cool air pours in behind the action. This cool shot will be followed by additional big boomers with the cooler than normal overall pattern locking in for a while.
Today’s showers and storms are coming at us in waves and won’t be all day by any means. A few of the storms may be strong with an outside chance for a severe storm, especially in the east. Here’s today’s Severe Weather Outlook from the Storm Prediction Center…

Highs Monday and Tuesday are generally in the 70s for most of the state, giving us a rather September look and feel.
Another potent cold front rolls our way by Wednesday and Thursday, bringing more in the way of big storm clusters…
The Storm Prediction Center is already highlighting the potential for a few severe storms across the Ohio Valley Wednesday and Thursday. These days are just outside of the traditional risk maps you see from the SPC, so the outlook is rather general..
