Good Thursday evening, folks. We are facing a very cold period as we head into Thanksgiving week, but will it include some snow? I think there is a good possibility of getting some of the white stuff before turkey day. The question is… how much?
The forecast models are slowly coming around on a potent storm rolling from the deep south and up the east coast. The European Model continues to look like it has the best handle…
That’s a pretty crazy setup to see at this time of the year and is one that can put down some snow for a lot of people. The European Model says this includes the bluegrass state…
The Canadian Model isn’t as wrapped up with the storm, but does manage to sneak some of the white stuff into Kentucky…
Whether we get a mix of rain and snow, a touch of light snow, or something a little more… the cold will reign supreme. Highs in the 30s and lows in the 20s will be common early next week. Thanksgiving itself looks frigid with highs near freezing.
Enjoy your evening and take care.
I bet on a 95% rain event
Looks like this rain event is breaking up.. Is it going to redevelop tomorrow or is this line it? It appears we may not get much of any in southeast Ky..
I guess a positive out of this is the line at Best Buy at Hamburg will be smaller this year 🙂 Winning!
I am taking a thermos of coffee.
Come on guys…be positive er r way overdue for some snow…like I said we had our first snow on the 12 the …which means according to the old farmers almanac whatever date we get our first snow how many we get
