Good evening, friends and neighbors. Precipitation is beginning to break out to our southwest and this will scoot into the region pretty quickly overnight. It’s a good time to take a look at some of the super short range models that update hourly.
This run of the HRRR Model goes to around 9am tomorrow morning and shows a couple of pretty good snow streaks ahead of the freezing rain…
The model shows a fair amount of freezing rain across the south and southeast and that lifts northward during the late morning. It has far southern Ky already turning to rain by 9am.
The RAP model is also trying to spit out a couple of decent snow streaks.. just a tad farther north. This run goes through Noon…
That run also shows a decent amount of freezing rain to rain for areas south of the snow.
I will get your tracking tools online later tonight. Take care.
thanks Chris appreciate your time and effort, and dedication
hrrr has Louisville in the three to four inch range. I highly doubt it, but will take it if it comes.
That is so not happening. Maybe a inch, 3to4 would be warning criteria. That precip in Arkansas and western Tennessee is not solid but scattered more of a on and off type of scenario.
you’re right. its all about watching the radar.
Exactly what we need more rain weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
You’re not really in a good area for snow. Don’t worry, Andy, you just need a Low to ride up the Atlantic Coast and you got a good storm. I know how frustrating it is, but be patient and when it happens it will be glorious.
Any one remember mar of 93 storm
I wasn’t born then, but why do you mention this storm?
