Good Saturday everyone and thanks for checking in on us. The weather is about as boring as you can get so I am not going to spend a lot of time telling you just how boring things are. Boring weather usually equals nice weather and that is exactly what we will have this weekend.
Temps will run on the warm to even hot side with readings in the lower 80s east to near 90 in the west. 90 again? Thanks dry ground for that one! Sunday will see similar conditions as the sunshine continues.
Our weather will begin to change up next week as a weak front makes a run at us by Tuesday with some cooler air and a small chance for a shower or two. A better threat for some showers and even cooler air arrives on the scene for Thursday into Friday. This is not the real chill I am talking about later this month as that should arrive during the last 10 days or so of October and likely carry us into November.
Since the weather is so boring… let us have some fun at the expense of those silly TV weather people. Here are a few bloopers to help you pass your weather time…
Is it me or is it even funnier when you have no clue what they are saying?
Have a great Saturday.
Think I’ll have to agree somewhat with you on that Chris. Although, I’d have to say that the cockroach man was by far my fave of what you posted. I had tears streaming down my face laughing at him!
BTW, talk to your people about the cold. Tell them to hang onto it a few more days till after we get moved =)
Hey Chris! Loved the weather videos…just goes to show that you never know what is going to set you off. As for the weather, well, we could use some rain, but, Iwill take the warmth while we have it as I know it won’t be longtill cool and cold weather is here for a while.
Great day for football, or races, or just….whatever! Enjoy, everyone!
I don’t mind the temps at all, since the dew points and humidity are sooo low. I think the Mesonet had a 19% humidity reading at our station the other day. The only annoying part of the weather, aside from the good people of Lawrenceburg having to live out Grapes of Wrath daily, is the 40+ degree temp swings from low to hi.
I know! In the subdivision I live in there isn’t a lot of shade and the house can heat up inside really quickly and become uncomfortable even with the windows open….So by 1 or 2, I have to turn the air on and it cycles on and off until about 6 pm…I have it on 74 so the house apparently gets above 74 inside or it wouldn’t come on.
The cockroach blooper-priceless.
Weatherdude, more weather bloopers … that was fun. Quite cool in Frankfort this morning, but by 11:00, jogging was a little warm.
My prediction (from a couple of days ago) is working out PERFECTLY. It’s getting close to halftime, and Auburn’s score is exactly 1/2 of the current temp. at Commonwealth Stadium. 🙂 I’m on pace to nail this one.
Wow, look at those Cats. They’ve really changed it up in the 2nd half.. This is what’s great about college football…you never know what to really expect.
Man, GFS still has no rain in sight…
