Good evening, everyone. What a winter weather day across the bluegrass state. Snow, blowing snow and bitterly cold temps have turned Kentucky into the frozen tundra. Guess what’s in the forecast? More of the same and I will touch on that later tonight.

Clays Ferry Bridge: air-7.5, pavement-24.8, subsurface- 36.7, wind from NNE at 7 +/- mph all will drop throughout the night….adds up to cold so be careful in the morning if you are up and down I-75. Actually be mindful as you drive anywhere tomorrow as the crazies still have driving privileges….’nuff said and implied!

Bardstown/Nelson Co. KY….- about 1-2″, woke up to beautiful “raining heavy snow”, then the wind kicked up….had “Snodaoes” in my yard for a time..?! Not impressed…we always get ‘shafted” (Sorry, BubbaG, but you have NO CLUE!!!?? hahaha!)
A solid 4 inches in Ironton, Ohio. This was the best snow for us in town since 2010.
Ironton is just across the river from Boyd county. I’m a leftover Bailey fan from his WSAZ days. 🙂
I saw some people complaining about living under snow domes where it never snows. Ironton has been one of these places in recent years, but this year is different so far. This snow put Ironton to 9 1/2 inches for the year according to my tracking. Could you verify that, Chris?
