Good evening, gang. Heavy snow continues to take over this evening. This will deliver several inches of snow to much of the state and some could hit double digit snow amounts.

There is a tremendous amount of moisture streaming in from the southwest. This is meeting up with cold air settling southeastward and will create a Super Bowl Snowstorm. Here’s my snow forecast from WKYT-TV just a bit ago…

SPECIAL 2We will see sharp cutoffs to the heaviest band of snow, but that’s almost impossible to pinpoint exactly where they setup. For parts of the region, this could be the biggest snowfall since February, 1998. Could being the key word.
