Good Evening, gang. We have a windy evening going on out there as gusts have been topping 40mph at times. This action will wind down overnight as a weak front passes through. Saturday looks good, but a developing winter storm will target the region Sunday into Monday.
The Weather Prediction Center does have much of the area outlined in a risk for significant snow and ice. There’s a slight risk for 4″ of snow for two different periods…
The WPC also highlights some areas for the potential of .25″ of freezing rain…![]()
I hope to have a first call out later tonight or early Saturday morning. Enjoy the rest of the evening and take care.
Did I just read a curse word in that post that begins with the letter ‘i’?
Heavy wet snow in Mid-March i’ve seen–not sure I can recall that much ice this late in the season.
Agree freezing rain is usually rare this late, rain/ snow is usually the main threat this kate in tge season very little mix??
Rolo moment in typing 😉
Bottom line….If you live within 30-40 miles of Cincinnati batten down the hatches, otherwise Winter is over….Bring on Spring!
