Good evening, gang. Spring is underway with very nice weather across the bluegrass state. Let’s make sure to enjoy the next couple of days because winter isn’t going away. I’m tracking two snow chances over the next week or so.
The first arrives on Sunday as cold air from the north meets up with moisture streaming in from the southwest. That could add up to a swatch of snow quickly working across the region. The NAM certainly shows this well…
I guess we will see about that, but it is certainly more than a possibility. There is another system that is likely to bring some snow our way by Tuesday of next week. Happy spring.
Take care.
Really!?!?!?!?! Ugh…no more snow
Thanks Chris, bring it on. Winter can’t last forever-even though it did snow on derby day about 20 years ago. Spring has sprung!
Those temps don’t look very snow conducive 😉
The biggest snowfall in my life never saw the temperature get below 32, it stayed around 34-35 for most of the event. That was April 1987. I measured 36 inches. A new weather channel had said that there appeared to be a chance for up tp 3 feet of snow from this in Pike county, Ky, that was TWC. Now they can’t even get the weather close.
Chris, I know you are just the messenger, but even us southern kentuckians are ready for warmer temps! Appreciate you for all you do. Guess we will see. Have a good evening everyone.
Dodger says bring on snow! Have y’all missed The Dodger?! 🙂
Snow chances are few and far between now Chris, the models are out to lunch!
